We have been supporting PE firms and their PortCos since 2004 and with this experience we have developed innovative approaches to learning and development.

People Business has carved a niche for ourselves supporting PortCos through the entire investment cycle. We help clients review the levels of sophistication in their people processes, and their leadership/operational capability, to ensure they are adequately prepared and equipped to go on a period of growth under PE investment.

Most of what we do is bespoke, mainly because we believe that tailoring our work to the house style of the PortCo (and the PE backers) delivers superior learning results.

We aim to bring the reality of work challenges into the training room creating stimulating simulations where participants can practise in a safe environment but more importantly hone their skills.

Collaborating with the firm: Three workshops exploring the challenges of working with PE firms, building an effective partnership with the firm and understanding the dynamics of Board meetings and the investor role.
Leadership capability evaluation and development: Using our proprietary maturity model we assess the current leadership maturity before evaluating the stage of the business and then identify where they are mismatched, and recommend learning interventions where subjects can include but are not limited to:

C-suite coaching: We offer several types of coaching and specifically for PortCos we have supported clients who are:
